General Terms & Conditions

Effective from 30/07/2025

By booking a party date and paying the relevant deposit, you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the hire of the Rave Cave and any other hire equipment, superseding all prior proposals, negotiations, understandings, or agreements, whether oral or written.

1. Liability

Rave Cave Kent will not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

1. Acts of God: tempest, fire, flood, storm, epidemic, pandemic, or natural disaster
2. War, civil unrest, sabotage, or terrorism
3. Government sanctions, embargoes, import/export restrictions
4. Labour disputes, strikes, or other industrial action
5. Failures in transport, utilities (power, gas, water, communication), or equipment

Rave Cave Kent, its agents, officers, or employees accept no liability for any personal injury or property damage suffered during the hire period.

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Deposit & Payment

>All prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed.
>Bookings are confirmed only upon:
>Receipt of deposit and
>Provision of pictures and measurements of the party area.
>Unless otherwise agreed, all prices include:
>Delivery within a 30-mile radius of TNxx
>Set-up, 24-hour hire, and collection

Additional charges may apply for:

>Events located more than 30 miles from TNxx
>Children’s parties (18 and under) due to increased supervision or risk

Deposits:

>A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
>If your location is deemed unsuitable (based on submitted photos/measurements), Rave Cave Kent may offer a refund at its sole discretion.
>Full payment is due immediately upon booking confirmation, or paying by cash 14 days prior to the Party Date.

Cancellations:

>Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the Party Date will not be refunded.
>Rescheduling is allowed with 14 days’ notice or more. Shorter notice will be treated as a cancellation.

Security Deposit:

>An additional £100 refundable damage deposit will be added at checkout to the final balance.
>Refund is issued after collection and inspection.
>Damage (e.g. smoke odour, stains, tears, burns) may result in deposit forfeiture. Additional costs will be invoiced if damages exceed £100.

3. Use of the Rave Cave and Equipment

You agree to the following conditions of use:

>Ensure clear access and a suitable, measured area for delivery, assembly, and collection.
>Failure to provide access or required space will be treated as a cancellation, with payment remaining due.
>Unless agreed otherwise, hire is for 24 hours, starting from delivery time.
>Failure to allow collection may incur additional hire fees.

Strictly Prohibited:

>Smoking, candles, matches, or any open flames inside the tent.
>Gas or cooking appliances of any kind.
>Pets inside the tent or on hired furniture.

Safety & Cleanliness:

>Our Services are recommended for children aged 5 and above
>Children under 5 must be supervised at all times
>All rubbish, food, and drinks must be cleared before collection.
>Items left behind may result in a cleaning or handling fee.
